Dr. Patel grew up in Charlotte and came back to the area to found Matthews Family Dentistry in 2003. He specializes in dental implants.
Dr. Kashyap is another long-time member of our team, having joined our office in 2006. Like Dr. Patel, he grew up in the area and came back to the area after completing his dental residency to become a dentist in Charlotte. Both Drs. Patel and Kashyap are members of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
“Dr. Jay” as patients affectionately call Dr. Shukla is one of our newer members. He joined Matthews Family Dentistry in 2016 and explores the latest technology to bring into our practice to better serve our patients.
Dr. Barrero is our newest dentist, coming to Matthews Family Dentistry in 2022. He specializes in offering conservative general dentistry treatments that preserve the natural look and function of the teeth.
